There are plenty of amazing women out there, but I've only met a few that are truly exceptional in every way. Alex Swanson is one of these ladies. She's inherently kind, outgoing, inspiring, adventurous and loyal, and has that rare quality that makes you feel like she's really listening when you talk. It doesn't hurt that she has legs for miles and supermodel good looks to match. But what I really love about Al, who works as a marketing manager for nature-loving label Element Eden? She's a true dirtbagger. Oh, and fellas...she's single:
Her favorite outdoor activity:
If it involves the outdoors and a moving body, it's my favorite.
The most adventurous thing she's ever done:
It started in the third grade when my older brother told me my dearest boy crush would date me if I jumped off the garage roof...and I believed him. Turns out it was all a lie, but it did result in a new passion for "flying" by way of snowboarding off the roof, cliff jumping into water, and skate ramp bungee launches into the lake. I still have yet to find a dream guy with enough balls to hold up his half of the deal.
Her dream destination:
Heli-boarding...Chile, Canada, Alaska...I'm open to anywhere getting hit hard with the fresh! I just have to find enough of the green to make it happen first. It must feel the closest to flying, while your board just barely skims the surface, blowing up clouds of crystal dust.
Her scariest moment outdoors:
It just might have been jumping off the roof in the third grade. I was really a very scared little girl up until that moment. Previously, I had even been frightened we'd get some freakish tornado in the middle of the Rocky Mountains where I lived (not possible). Not sure what happened in the moment, but whatever it was led to a life of beautiful adventures!
The luxury item she always has on hand:
Perfume. Victoria's Secret has my hands tied with every scent of body spray they make.
Her favorite outdoor spot:
My parents' backyard. I'm beyond grateful they never moved from the place I spent my entire life growing up. So many memories and more to be had.
Her advice for a healthy, happy life:
Nike said it best: Just Do It. Plain and simple.
Thanks Al! Do you know someone I NEED to meet? Let me know in the comments section!
